Introduction to Darning: Wednesday 24th April 2024

Join us for our ‘Introduction to Darning’ workshop with our fantastic knitwear repair extraordinaire Emily! We’ll be at the lovely Bawn Textiles in the Southside of Glasgow on Wednesday 24th April 2024 from 6pm - 8pm where we will host a 2-hour session on how to get started on darning your knitwear.

As we look forward to the warmer months, now is the perfect time to do those much needed knitwear repairs. Whether your cashmere needs some attention or if your favourite woollen has seen better days, this session will teach you the basics of how to repair your knitwear in a fun, creative and sociable space - with lots of tea! 

All fibres welcome and all equipment and materials will be provided by us, so all you need to bring is yourself and the item or items you want to mend.

Cancellation policy: If you would like to cancel your place, we ask you to do so with at least one week’s notice so we can fill your spot in time. Any cancellations made within 48 hours before the session can not be refunded, instead your space can be transferred to another date.
